Fans may still have seven months to wait, but One Direction have just released the trailer for their upcoming 3D concert movie, giving a sneak peek into what life is like behind the scenes for the world's biggest boyband.
The 'Kiss You' hitmakers will be releasing the full-length concert documentary in August and have enlisted Super Size Me director Morgan Spurlock to take on the challenge of turning the next few months of their lives 3D.
The brief trailer, which premiered on Daybreak on Friday morning, shows a few clips of the boys hanging out on their home turf of the UK, while being mobbed by fans and scenes from some of their recent concerts.
In one clip, Liam Payne says to the camera: “I've always wanted a brother, now I've got four,” while Zayn Malik adds: “We're stronger [together] than as if there was five people by themselves.”
The movie will also incorporate footage from the band's upcoming 'Take Me Home' world tour, which they will be kicking off on February 23 with a string of shows at London's O2 Arena.
When he was asked at a recent press conference why he wanted to direct 1D's movie, Spurlock said: “These guys have gotten so huge in such a short amount of time – why? What makes them more special than any other people?”
The movie, which is being produced by Simon Cowell, will premiere in cinemas around the world on August 23.
